BUSINESS CHALLENGE As in-store plays an integral role in a brand re-launch there was a need to evaluate new merchandising vision qualitatively for a consumer brand.
Shelf evaluation included:
Ensure look and feel to embody the brand
Ensure better navigation
Showcase depth of assortment
Educate consumers on benefits
METHODOLOGY We conducted consumer qualitative research with our Virtual View portable wall and one-on-one interviews. 33 respondents did a self-guided shopping exercise with Illumination Research’s unique Virtual View™ Wall 12 respondents participated in a deeper 30-minute interview
The results from this research were used to highlight the areas of the new shelf design that will optimize the shopper experience in-store and highlight the brand as a modern and the expert in their category.
